Ralf GUM
Ralf GUM’s been creating music since 1993. In 1997 he teamed up with mate CrisP and has worked with notable artists as Inaya Day, Michael Procter or the fascinating Concha Buika. He is well known for his succession of quality productions on labels such as Tommy Boy, Peppermint Jam, Flamingo Discos, Sole Music, Milk & Sugar, Infracom! or Compose. His remixes for acts like Hacienda or Billie Ray Martin have helped their songs become dance floor classics. Ralf’s GoGo Music (www.gog-music.com) is a staple atop sales and play charts worldwide.
His recent hits include Kissing Strangers feat. Monique Bingham, “Uniting Music” and Higher High” feat. Daniel Thomas. The hallmark of Ralf’s sound is his use of live instrumentation and funky harmonies coupled with his wicked house beats and very own crisp percussion. And Jennifer’s amazing vocals under Ralf’s pristine production is exactly what you would hope. But the distinctive groove isn’t the only reason for Ralf’s success – his passion for all things soulful shines through in all he does and helps create a simply irresistible aura each and every time he emerges from the studio.

Grooveblaster
With the ears of a fan and the reflexes of a musician (the Grooveblaster began his musical career as a bassist), the Grooveblaster colors way outside the lines set by the parochial, the genre fixated and the weak-minded, but he knows the rules so when he breaks 'em it's on.
His rhythms and melodies are rooted in cosmopolitan pop and downtempo grooves, so it's hard to tell where 'song' ends and 'version' begins, where message ends and music begins, where agony ends and ecstasy kicks in.
The Grooveblaster's latest CD, "Cities, Streets & Bebop Nights" (a Jack Kerouac check) features sultry and soulful vocals by Anji Bee (the lovespirals), Yasi Baby (Pacha Massive), Laura Harley and Daca Kopanja. In addition the album includes cinematic cosmopolitan instrumental grooves including a tribute to Angie Dickinson and rumba ode to Italian model/actress Benedetta Valanzano, all wrapped in a unique blend of styles from Gene Krupa, Anita O’Day, Philly Soul, Massive Attack, St. Etienne, Clash, Steely Dan, Dave Brubek, Kenny Burrell, Brian Wilson and more. The Grooveblaster has been featured on Anji Bee's Chillcast podcast. the Below Zero radio show on San Francisco on Energy FM 92.7, Parisian broadcast Tonic FM and many others.

DJ Spinna
DJ Spinna is something of an anomaly in music. A humbling example of what it takes to truly succeed within the framework of multiple fields. A steadfast work ethic, an obsessively extensive vinyl library and the willingness to pursue the full extents of his roots (Funk, Soul and Jazz), foundation (Hip-Hop) and future (Electronic/Dance music) with no restraints. A cornerstone of Hip-Hop's late 90's indie-uprise, DJ Spinna made much of his first impression on listeners as the musical background of his group The Jigmastas. Everyone from Mos Def, Talib Kweli to Pharaohe Monch boasted Spinna beats to prove their worth to the scene. As collaborative production work flooded his studio, from hip-hop legends like Sadat X & Grand Puba (Brand Nubian), Masta Ace and Guru (Gangstar) to even The Jungle Brothers. Yet, while his stock as a the go-to producer rose so did his value as a key, if not crucial, remixer. At the time reworking hits for the major-label likes of De La Soul ("Stakes is High") Das EFX and MC Eiht.
Turning heads throughout the industry, Spinna's sonics soon infiltrated numerous genres. Tapped by everyone from Mary J. Blige to Motown Records (for his brilliant Michael Jackson homage to "We're Almost There"). It's here his production presence would flourish greatly, as Spinna would go on to revive and revise Soulful marvels like Donald Byrd, Eddie Kendricks, Betty Carter, Roy Ayers and Al Jarreau. Always relevant to the current, Spinna has taken to new mixes for the J Dilla bred Platinum Pied Pipers and Bay Area songstress Goapele as with the well respected Les Nubian. Though it goes without saying that one of the more memorable mixes goes to his monumental version of Shawn Escoffery's "Days Like This". In turn, catapulting Spinna into his now stately, touted presence in the dance music scene. Which made the transition to BBE Records smooth as ever, for his landmark solo production album "Here To There". It also spawned another record label, Spinna's own, Wonderwax. A home for his soulful dance classics, the imprint came to fruition in 2003, and has seen memorable releases from contemporaries such as Rich Medina, Lady Alma, Blaze, The Free Radikalz and Selan.
Spinna's collaborated on stage alongside contemporary luminaries like Gilles Peterson, Jazzanova, Joe Claussell, Bugz In The Attic, Osunlade, Q-Tip, Jazzy Jeff, Kenny Dope, Keb Darge, DJ Scratch (EPMD), DJ Shadow & Cut Chemist. Its true that there are other likeminded DJ/Producers in the world comparable to DJ Spinna, but for the most part, they choose a genre and master it. Ask them to flip another variety with the same intense knowledge and sleek-savvy and you'll be hard pressed to find someone that'll do it to Spinna's extent.

Alexander East
Alexander East is among the ever growing list of talent that continues to take the electronic community by storm here in the U.S. and abroad. If you’re not quite familiar with his name, then most assuredly you would recognize his voice from either his featured appearances on tracks from Jake Childs, Jay J or Derrick Carter just to name a few. But on his own, his releases have been bumping dance floors for more than a decade now.
Born in Brooklyn New York, Alexander knew he had a purpose beyond description when it came to his ever growing “hobby” of music. When he was young, he taught himself how to play many different musical instruments and sing. While growing up, his family had moved to quite a number of places in the Midwest, including Ohio and Minneapolis where he currently resides. It was during these early years in the between places where he gained the opportunity to spend significant time around many different recording studios where he learned how to produce and engineer his own works.
Although
he was initially all about producing hip hop, it was during the early
1990’s where house music and other forms of electronic music began
pulling him into the realm that he is known for today. In 1994, he
began DJing and working within the underground community producing his
own trackst. By 1997, Alexander’s first track “Gold Dust Goodies v1” was released in a limited capacity through his very own label Planet
East Recordings.
It wasn’t until the releases of “Hazy
Shade of Love” (in a collaborative effort w/Underground Construction)
and the tracks “Deeper Shades” & “Jest For Me” (both released in
2000 & 2001 in a collaborative effort w/Afterhours Records) that
gained the attention of Derrick Carter, who not only helped break these
releases, but remixed “Jest 4 Me” for a re-release as well. Alexander’s
tracks and efforts have been used on various compilation and mixed CDs
through a multitude of labels from the likes of Afterhours, NRK, Nordic
Trax, DJ Magazine, Fabric, Promo Only, Aroma, Blockhead, Swank, Amenti,
OM Records and recently Defected Music.
From 2001 to
the present Alexander East has continued to blaze forth a path for
himself within the industry, gaining notoriety though both his vocals
on collaborative efforts and remixes with fellow producers Jimpster, JT
Donaldson, Atnarko, Rick Preston, Swirl People and Olivier Desmet. His
current chart topper “Believe En Me” (with remixes from Lawnchair
Generals) and his latest re-release “So Hi” (with remixes by Chuck Love& Bryan Gerrard) takes this talented musician to yet another level
with a body of work that is nothing short of fantastic! One thing is
certain with a talent like Alexander East….you are just beginning to
scratch the surface with his music!!!

Short Bus Kids
The Short Bus Kids are DK Watts and Lance Leber. We are a production duo based out of San Francisco, California and Amsterdam, The Netherlands. DK Watts lives in Amsterdam now and Lance still soaks up the California sun. When they aren’t busy doing our “day” jobs, they find time to produce and release tracks on our labels: Bounce House Recordings (www.bouncehouserecordings.com) and SBK (Promo Label). Both DK and Lance are music junkies! They mostly DJ solo, but the sort of music we spin at our shows ranges from deep, funky house, to disco and funk-influenced breaks. When performing live together they use live samplers, effects and midi to keep our set fresh and movin'. Their diverse backgrounds in music definitely spills over into their production. Expect tracks that reach across all styles of dance music.

Gregory Del Piero
Gregory Del Piero has been a Dj since 1987. During the summer of 1998, he met the world famous Joe Claussel of Body & Soul from New York City while Joe was on tour in France. Following that meeting, Gregory decided to pursue his interest in music production and moved to San Francisco, where he began producing his signature sound – Deep and soulful house music. Few in the house music scene rise to the level of excellence required in their work to have their first ever professional track signed by such a respectable label as Subliminal Records. Even fewer producers manage to follow such an accomplishment with another piece of work on another stalwart name in underground house music – Black Vinyl. But Del Piero is such a Dj/Producer. His “double pack” titled “Don’t Hesitate” on Subliminal Soul and his work on Black Vinyl called “Friend of the Blues” are considered two of the best pieces of house music produced during the last five years. His third record “Won’t Stop” featuring Latrice Barnett was on top of the charts in the UK and got license over 10 times for diverse compilations. Gregory has fast become a highly sought after producer. His fourth record titled “Anytime” on UK’s Swing City Records was charted number four in the hype charts of the UK's premier publication DJ Magazine. In 2006, Gregory produced over 20 singles (including 4 songs with the gospel legend Kenny Bobien) and a full-length album titled “I Love You More” which is considered by many in the industry has the “must-have” house music album. In 2007 Gregory launch his own imprint Del Records and has already worked with such artists as Byron Stingily (Ten City), Keith Thompson (Raze/Break For Love), Jojo Haley, Latrice Barnette, Billy Love, Ron Caroll, Miguel Migs & J Jay, Grant Nelson, David Harness, Harley & Muscle and Bill "The Buddah" Dickens to name a few.

DeMarkus Lewis
DeMarkus Lewis, a driving force behind todays house music sound and key player in the evolution of its future, has come a long way in the last sixteen years. From his start as a dj in 1990 to the beginning of his production career in 2000, he had already established himself as a Dallas favorite. Add to that over a hundred quality house music records in the last 8 years and the reputation for destroying dance floors worldwide and it becomes clear why he is one of house musics most sought-after djs/producers. It all started on his 25th birthday when he met his long time goal of signing his first record deal by the age of 25. After that, his dedication grew and he continued to top himself release after release. Throughout the beginning of his production career he had created his own sound with signature beats, chord structures and instrument choices. Releases on labels such as Moods & Grooves, Bluem, Roam, and Alluv Recordings established DeMarkus as a respected deep house artist. Then in an attempt to expand his production tastes in the height of the tech-house rise, he released I Can Do What You Do on the Fuzzy Slippers EP on Flat & Round a track that definitely pushed its self-entitled statement. Not only had he proven he could capture the techier edge of some of tech-houses leading artists, but he had done it remarkably well the track was a WMC 2004 breakout hit. Suddenly DeMarkus was receiving heightened media exposure and commissioned for work on a wide range of labels including Nightshift, Vista, Brique Rouge, Grab, Nordic Trax, Freaked and Guesthouse. Since then, his music has received support from Diz, Joshua, Music For Freaks, David Duriez, Phil Weeks, Phonique, Lady D, Hipp-e, Doc Martin, and DJ Heather to name a few. As a DJ, there is no doubt that DeMarkus can work a crowd. In fact, promoters and venues worldwide have booked him repeatedly due to the overwhelming response he gets from the dance floor. This has also led to a monthly residency in Chicago at Zentra the first Friday of every month playing alongside Derrick Carter and Paul Johnson periodically. He enjoys playing throughout the US and in locations in the UK, Belgium, Spain, Canada, Brazil, Chile, Germany, France, Russia, Holland, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Belgium and Mexico.

High Maintenance
Hailing from Dallas, TX., a city that has spawned such house music greats as Brett Johnson, JT Donaldson, Demarkus Lewis, and Lance Desardi, the producing tandem of J. Caprice & 4peace, otherwise known as HIGH MAINTENANCE, seem destined to be the next big thing out of Big D! In a city full of, and respected for it's deep house & minimal DJ's, High Maintenance has been makin' their presence felt with their signature funky, dirty, jackin' underground style of house music. Their high energy tag team sets are setting dance floors across the world on fire while their infectious clownin', lighthearted personas make them a crowd favorite.
Both have been accomplished DJ's for quite some time (4peace since '89 and J. Caprice since '96), but it wasn't until Feb. 2008 that things started taking off on the producing front when the two met through a chance encounter on myspace. Needless to say, it was a match made in heaven and like two long lost brothers, J. Caprice & 4peace immediately clicked and started working on tracks together under the guise of High Maintenance. The house music community instantly took notice and the pair have been getting tracks signed at a torrid pace to such respected labels as Digi Funk, Dustpan, Groove Baby, Midwest Hustle, Meltin' Funk, Junky Trunk, Footwear, Bid Muzik, Llama Farm, HuHu, Shak Street, Serial Sickness, Illuminati, Voluptuous, & 3345, as well as their own label JUICED MUSIC, which has firmly established itself as a powerhouse in the worldwide house community. Their tracks have been charted by the likes of Mes, Smokingroove, JR From Dallas, Sonny Fodera, Combined, & Tommy Largo.
With no signs of slowing down and a sound that continues to improve and mature with each release, the future looks very bright for the High Maintenance boys!

Marcel
Marcel grew up near Frankfurt, Germany where he was introduced to music by his parents at an early age to the sounds of the 70s to artists such as Elton John, Billy Joel, ABBA, Genesis, Cat Stevens, etc.., but when one of his friends in 1978 played him the single of The Robots by Kraftwerk he was really captured by the sound. He then focused more on electronic pioneers such as Human League, OMD and Gary Numan. In 1982 he moved to a mostly Rock and Country music oriented Texas, but still his interest in electronic music grew stronger especially when New Order released their single “Blue Monday” in 1983. One year later he started DJing at the age of 15 at parties, but was not until 1988 when he was finally noticed by a club owner in Lubbock, TX and began spinning at “The Planet”. In 1989 he was voted to be one of the TOP 10 most progressive DJs in the US by Details magazine and also was runner up at Razormaids New Beat Contest.
This was also the year when he was introduced to producing by his friend Kay Praag and started working on some demos which unfortunately were never released. When Marcel moved back to Germany in 1991 he continued as a freelance DJ, but also wanted to start making his own tracks so that in 1994 bought a home recording studio. When his old friend Kay split with the members of “Alter Ego” in 1996 he teamed up again with him, but now for good and they soon released their first 12” on Phuture Wax records. Other releases soon followed, but a few years later their label was dissolved and they started into a new foray of electronic music; House and Downbeat. Joined by a female vocalist Kim Bennett their track “Drifting away” was soon born, but never released until now.

Kay
Born in 1966 in Frankfurt Germany his interest in electronic music started at an early age, but was marked through artists such as Nitzer Ebb, Kraftwerk, Front 242 and Talla 2XLC in the mid 80s. In 1989 he teamed up with a close friend, Uwe Wagenknecht, and invested some money in musical equipment. Soon his first project Random Access was created and had their first release “Interceptor” in 1990 on the renowned label “Logic Records”. After a few more release with Uwe they decided to go separate ways, leading his way to Jörn Elling Wuttke (who later became famous under the name “Alter Ego”, as well as producer for Sven Väth). With Jörn he created “Warp 69” and “Rebel Youth” which were featured on 12 Compilations as well as receiving international credit. A year later “Roman Flügel” (Alter Ego, Sven Väth productions) joined them and released under several pseudonyms such as Pure Tribal, Basic Gravity, Goya. In 1996 Kay decided to leave the project due to some irreconcilable differences. When his old buddie Marcel played him some demos of his, he saw a lot of potential in the tracks and asked if he could produce these. Soon after the project “Intensity” was born and found their place on “Phuture Wax Records”, the label from Tom Wax. After several releases the label was closed down. Both Kay and Marcel wanted to continue producing together, but also go into other forays of electronic music and added a female vocalist into their project. This was the time for “Intensity of Sound”.

Tony Loreto and Jacko
Tony Loreto a/k/a Antonio Loreto born in Naples (Italy) on the 14th June 1983. At the beginning of the 90’s he was starting to get closer to house music and the club scene, when he was hooked by the recorded tape of a famous party called “Ragazzi Terribili” in Rome. The DJ of that party was Marco Moreggia, and he was the one that at first influenced Tony’s musical taste and choices. The curiosity to learn and understand what was behind the job of being a “DJ” led him to buy his first turntables and mixer. Tony’s home town is Afragola, and that was a blessing, because there is plenty of musical knowledge and talented DJ’s. With the help of local DJ’s like DJ Bruno, Lello Air and Mike Zanfardino he starts really to improve his skills as far as Djing. At the beginning Tony used to play music during house parties in his basement, starting to play and develop his own style in constant evolution. Later on, after meeting with DJ Roby Maas, he definitely improved his skills for his selection and mixing technique.
In 1998, his first gig in a club came from local promoters called: “RT Group”, that wanted him to play as resident DJ during all their events. This experience for Tony was the first real contact with a crowd.
In 1999 he met Angelo Cimmino, another talented DJ from Naples, with whom he started a series of successful private parties for a limited number of friends. In 2001 Tony managed to get a gig in one of the biggest and most important club in the area of Naples, the club is called: "Metropolis". Thanks to the famous promoters Groove Sensation he had the opportunity to play alongside some of the best DJ’s, like: Frankie Feliciano, Lil Louis and Joe Caussell.
In 2003 Tony, Fernando Silvestro and Angelo Cimmino founded “Spirit Sound”, a project that had the goal to begin the productions career, learning all the skills that were necessary to work in a recording studio. For quite a long time Tony dedicated all his time to the productions, and all the work done and the long nights up at the studio were going to open for him a new career as a producer real soon.
After so much work, the first real personal success for him arrives in 2005 when he manages to get a demo of his production to Tony Humphries, while he was playing at “Dolce Vita Club” in Salerno. The legendary DJ didn’t hesitate to test his work right on the dancefloor!
In 2007 he meets Jacko from Tony Records and together they start a new journey and production team called TJ Inc, their debut release is on Tony Humphries’ label with the acclaimed release “The Spirit EP”. They are also working on many different projects and Remixing famous R&B artists such as: Mary J Blige, Alicia Keys, Joss Stone, Heather Headley.
Currently you can listen to Tony Loreto every Friday night on the internet radio station, cyberjamz.com.

Photo-Poetic
Photo-Poetic, acoustic, live-looped, and unlooped instrumentation that floats between ambient and driving, melodic and chaotic, heaven and hell. Its creators, Dr Jonez and Mr Misc Ill have dedicated their lives to music in different ways: Dr Jonez grew up on the rhythm of the beat through circuitry - an electronic producer in his own right. Mr Misc Ill has a purist attitude when it comes to music - A master of stringed instruments and natural sounds. Together they blend the natural with the unnatural. The result is this unique sound called Photo-Poetic.
